Leeds General Infirmary, Jubilee Building Commissions

In 1997 I completed a series of ambitious designs for floor, wall and light units, for the Main Entrance, corridors and lift lobbies, Paediatric A&E, ICU and Cardiac wards, LGI Jubilee Building. Designs were inspired by decorative motifs in the original entrance to the hospital from Great George Street depicting medicinal plants as well as from nature.

Appleby Sculpture Trail Eden Rivers Trust

Inside Out is a commission from the Eden Rivers Trust in 2016  to create a sculpture trail in Appleby around the River Eden footpath, and in key locations in the town.

I worked with artist Debra Esterhuizen and residents of the town,  the sculptures represented residents’ and our own reflections on the impact of the flooding on the community. The trail provided an outlet for the emotional and physical upheaval caused by the flood.

These are sited each year during the Horse Fair on the railings at Bongate opposite the War Memorial in Appleby.
